Ik kom uit Friesland (Fryslân), het land met de vlag met 7 waterleliebladeren (pompeblêden) die symbool staan voor de 7 Friese zeelanden die in de Middeleeuwen het vrije Friesland vormden.

 

I come from Frisia (Friesland/Fryslân), the country with the flag with 7 water-lily leaves (pompeblêden) that symbolise the Frisian sea countries, in the Middel Ages independent Frisian regions.
