Current Goal

Being a fish, this little guy's mission is to travel the world and visit as many bodies of water as possible - (lakes, rivers, oceans, ponds, waterfalls) and post pictures of himself at as many beautiful locations and he can. Please make sure the tracking number on his tag is NOT visible if you post photos. Thanks!

About This Item

Homemade Humu

My husband and I were married July 18, 2004 (twelve years from the date of this release) and enjoyed our honeymoon on the Hawaiian Island of Maui. During that time, we went snorkeling and saw many of the state fish, the Humuhumu nukunuku apu a'a (the wedgetail or reef triggerfish). I wanted to celebrate our anniversary by releasing our own little Humu into the wild.

We drove through Port Angeles on the 14th headed for Lake Crescent and forgot a few of the groceries we needed. A second trip into town this morning provided the perfect opportunity to visit a geocache on the Straight of Jaun de Fuca.
