Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal

This bug is a Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. This is the medal awarded to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who have served in a combat zone in support of the War on Terror since September 11, 2001. I grabbed this one because it had a special meaning for me. I'm doing the MMPC while on leave from Iraq. I'll be dropping this one off in a cemetery what has a large memorial to our fallen soldiers from previous wars.

[blue]This is a nice TB. My son served over in Iraq for a year and came back last November. He told me last week he is being deployed again in the spring. I pray something will change and he will not have to go back.

Down visiting relatives, saw this cache hidden by some other relatives so we had to give it a try. GPSr had us in circles for awhile, but then momma GeoSweet used some geosense and found it right away, where we should have been looking anyway.
