This is a Carabiner. Normally, it can be used for (T5) climbing or as Personal Protective Equipment. In my daily work i use a load of this equipment. Used to make anchor points or to attache equipment.
In my office i have a test facillity for checking equipment, certification to the standards and during courses often we show trainees some tension test. These are destructive tests.
This specific Carabiner is rated by the manufacturer at 2500 kg Breaking force. In our test it,s meets the standard and it breaked at 2580 kg.
