Lisa and Patty's Crazy Travels

Lisa's Bio:

Hi I am 'Patty' the crazy duck. My friend Lisa, who has been fighting cancer and the complication of cancer for the last 25 years is getting tired. She has beat brain cancer twice, breast cancer stage 2 and stage 4, leukemia, had to have a bone marrow transplant that killed the leukemia but left her with Host vs. Graft Desease. The HVGD has been running havoc with her body. It has cause five plus heart attacks, and much more. Lisa now has a tumor at the base of her brain stem. One of Lisa's favorite things to do is to travel and go to the beach, put her feet in the warm water and the sun shining on her face. Lisa is confined to her home most of the time. She misses traveling and going to the beach. She misses traveling period, beach or not. It would mean so much to see 'Patty' the duck travel and take a selfie at the different stops along the way. Lisa was very excited when told about travel bugs and that she could still travel with your help.

It is with great sadness that I have to say my friend 'Lisa' lost her long 25 year battle with cancer and its complications. She took her last breathe at home surrounded;by the love of her life Monica, her son Kane and family on January 15, 2018. We continue to get so much comfort from checking in on her travel bugs journeys and seeing the duck on location. We look forward to following the ducks journeys. Thank you.
