Dirty Sock and the rest of the Skinny Legs crew would like to reunite with their fellow inanimate traveler Can o' Beans (http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=83154). Fans of Tom Robbins will know all about this gang and understand their need to reunite. For the uninitiated, let's just say that the original Can o' Beans, placed in the very first "stash" by Dave Ulmer, may have been traveling well before his participation in the historic beginnings of geocaching.

"Pardon me for saying so, Mr. Sock," Can 'O Beans counseled, "but you really ought not to use that slang...imprecise speech is one of the major causes of mental illness in human beings...The inability to correctly perceive reality is often responsible for humans' insane behavior. And every time they substitute an all-purpose, sloppy slang word for the words that would accurately describe an emotion or situation, it lowers their reality orientations, pushes them farther from the shore, out onto the foggy waters of alienation and confusion...it devalues the experience by standardizing and fuzzing it. It hangs between humanity and the real world like a...a veil. Slang just makes people more stupid, that's all, and stupidity eventually makes them crazy..."
