Current Goal

My name is Alison, and I’m from Alsace. I am a Stork, a very common sight in Alsace. But since so many people worldwide can trace their ancestors to Alsace, I would like to travel the world and see as many other places as I can. I like to have my picture taken with people at many different places!

Found Alison in an area where we actually saw storks! They were sitting on street lamps on the bridge on the picture. Signs said every couple of meters "no stopping on the bridge" - otherwise we'd have taken a photo of a stork for you.

  • Chesapeake Bay Bridge Built 1949 - 1952 (todays Eastbound bridge) and 1969 - 1973 (these days used for traffic heading west). Every year a good 26 million vehicles use this bridge.
