Current Goal

To travel to Chaco Culture National Historical Park, in New Mexico, and have my picture taken in and around the park. Then, to return to any cache in Salt Lake City, so I may obtain a new goal within this series.

About This Item

Historic Jeep TB

This bug is a small die-cast model of a JEEP Sahara. It is part of a new series of Travel bugs I'm releasing honoring Great Natural, and Ancient Wonders, and each bug will have a specific goal, and when completed it will return to it's home, to receive another goal.

Now, about this bug, and the Chaco Culture National Historic Park, in New Mexico.

Between A.D. 900 and A.D. 1100, the Anasazi built large multistory stone villages and an impressive 400-mile road system in Chaco canyon exemplifying their engineering and construction talents.

This bug would like to explore these villages, and roads obtaining pictures where possible.

This is going to Breckenridge Colorado on the weekend of November 6th. Next log will be with PCochrell. If you want it to leave earlier please let me know and Ill take it to a cashe. We figure Breckenridge would get it out of the NM boucing this Bug has been seeing.

Will move the jeep closer to its goal. We're going to visit Chaco Canyon this summer but I won't keep it 'til then because I'm not sure when we'll go. I'll try to get it farther north and west of ABQ as soon as possible.
