The race began on 14 March 2016 and will end on 14 September 2016.
All mileage counts, so please "visit" him into all the caches you go to in order to help him rack up the miles. Try to put as many miles between visits or caches that you drop him into. Please don't drop him into caches that are not found often; that will not help him win the race.
Last year, the winner of the 2015 GCCO TB Race was a Teenie Beanie Baby named Pinky who is a flamingo. I figured I would try our luck with an ostrich. Surely an ostrich can go further and faster than a flamingo can.
