Growing up I got hooked on reruns of the original Star Trek series. I went to conventions to meet the actors. I became a little obsessed, though I wasn't one who would wear the costumes in public or speak Klingon. Just a nerdy kid. With each additional series, the acting and special effects improved and the movies have been awesome for those of us who get the old inside jokes and love all the old characters. As you log this, if you are a Trekkie, (or more reserved "Trekker"), log your favorite Star Trek memory.
