Current Goal

Hi there! I may look fierce, but I'm actually really friendly. I'm also keenly interested in science, and I have a real fascination with lasers. Big lasers, little lasers, red and green and blue lasers, industrial or medical or home lasers... I love them all!

My dream is to be photographed with as many different types of laser as possible! Can you help me out?

(Oh, and please don't tell anyone that I'm a friendly shark. I'd never live down that sort of embarrassment. Grrrrrr.)

As with all of RWA's travel bugs, Sharks With Freakin' Lasers has a videogame connection. The plushie shark was a promotional item for the Gameshark series of game enhancement products; Gameshark gave them away to members of the press one year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Now stripped of his corporate logo and tags, this particular shark is going on the road in pursuit of adventure, excitement, and photos of freakin' lasers! :)

Out by myself as I head back from Oregon after setting up the family at Fish Lake for the next three weeks. Quick find, but needed my geocaching stick to push it out of its hiding spot. Elevation 167 feet. Weather 92 degrees. Near dusk with a slight breeze.
