HELP - Geocacher LashingsofGingerBeer has run out of Ginger Beer and needs to make some more. Please get this recipe to him in Little Hampton Near Princes Risbourgh, Buckinghamshire, England as quickly as possible. Starting location Spean Bridge, Highlands of Scotland.
This Travel bug has a simple recipe for Ginger Beer on it. Why not try making it? It would be great to see pictures of home made Ginger Beer. You could even log your own recipes.
The recipe on the Bug says
Ingredients
150g of ginger
2 pints of sparkling or still water
100grams of granulated sugar
1 Whole Lemon.
Method
- Peel and chop the lemon and ginger
- Blend the lemon and ginger with 1/2 pint water
- Sieve into bowl
- Pour into jug and add the remising water
- Cool in refrigerator for one Hour
