To travel around, seeking Pink Floyd Fans.... having my picture taken. Please...please don't keep me... I want to travel!!!
I decided to release a Pink Floyd Travel Bug because they are my favorite band. If you have ever seen them in concert, then you know that the "Pig" plays an important part of the show! Floyd has had a huge inflatable pig floating around or a couple popping out of skyscrapper size speakers (to the song "One Of These Days"). The albumn "Animals" was released in 1977. The album appears to be heavily inspired by George Orwell's Animal Farm as, through the central three songs, Roger Waters uses three animals as anthropomorphic metaphors for human behavior: dogs, pigs, or sheep. Dogs are used to represent the megalomaniac businessmen who are finished by being dragged down by 'the weight [they] used to need to throw around'. Pigs refers to politicians and opinion leaders, with direct references to Mary Whitehouse, who at the time, was making considerable efforts to censor Pink Floyd's music. Those who do not fall into either of these two categories are sheep, who follow blindly, without any self-thought.

After missing for over 10 years, I am sending out a new Pink Floyd: Pigs on the Wing. There is only a copy of the travel bug tag but I hope this little piggy travels the world in search of geocaches and Pink Floyd fans...
