Kumbeshwar is a temple (unfortunately surrounded by scaffolding at the time of this visit), but it's also home to the Kumbeshwar Technical School. The cache is actually inside the store run by the school. The school is a charity that provides a free education to 200-300 students. They also run a store that stocks handicrafts made by local residents, mostly women. I had an enjoyable chat with the woman running the store. This felt like a natural place to be, as our whole trip is actually to see the work being done in Nepal by a charity we support. 🙂
