My daddy named this after me - I am 10 years old and have cerebral palsy - I'm a whizz in my wheelchair and love to travel - I love going on the ferry to France and camping in the open air (mummy says it makes me sleep!!)

Change of plan... We've left the TB in a cache here in Spain. It's quite a touristy town, and it's a new cache, so people are likely to come and pick it up and hopefully take it to another part of Spain. I've left a comment telling people to take lots of photos with it like we have! :)

This was brought over to Spain and given to me on April 4th.

On the 5th and 6th of April we visited Toledo, the countryside, and Madrid. I have uploaded photos from all of these places, as well as some of the town where I live, Ciudad Real.

I hope you like the photos, I have added a bit of information about each one.

I hope to do a bit more travelling in a couple of weeks, and so I will take more photos. I'm heading back to England on May 9th, so if I don't leave it in Spain (I'm a bit reluctant to do so because there aren't as many cachers here and caches can go years without being found!) I'll leave it somewhere there.

  • The cathedral in Toledo, Spain On the Saturday Jessica came travelling with us to Toledo, Spain. This is a photo of the cathedral, which is absolutely beautiful.
  • River Tajo, Toledo. This is a photo of the river Tajo, in Toledo, which almost completely surrounds the city, with some beautiful bridges that cross it.
  • Plaza Mayor, Ciudad Real, Spain This is a photo of the main square in Ciudad Real, which is where I live. Ciudad Real is 175km south of Madrid and has about 75,000 people. In the background you can see the town hall. This is where a lot of families come in the evening, to have a few drinks and to eat tapas, which are small portions of food (ranging from crisps to pizza!) which are served free with the drinks. While the adults sit and chat the youngsters usually run around and play football.
  • Plaza Mayor, Ciudad Real This is another photo of the main square in Ciudad Real. On the right under the clock you can see a door. At certain times of the day (at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm I think!) there is a little performance, based around the book "Don Quijote de la Mancha." Don Quijote in the book travels a lot around this region, and the author, Miguel Cervantes, was born in this region. Therefore the three characters that appear are Don Quijote, his companion Sancho Panza, and the author of the book, Miguel Cer
  • The countryside! On Sunday morning, we decided to do a cache in the countryside near my town. This cache was part of a series based on old volcanic activity that took place in these parts. The photo shows what looks like a crater, which sometimes has water in, although that doesn't happen very often as it is very dry in this region! Where we took the photo from is where we found the cache!
  • Atocha station, Madrid On Sunday afternoon we went to Madrid. This is the main train station where most of the trains come and go. This is the main part of the station which almost feels tropical (especially in summer!) Here there are a few cafés where a lot of people spend their time whilst waiting for their trains.
  • Plaza de Espana, Madrid This is the plaza de Espana in Madrid, quite a large square with a large statue which you can see in the photo. Unfortunately we couldn't find the cache here :(
  • Madrid These are some beautiful gardens in Madrid (I can't remember the name, sorry!), close to the Royal Palace in the centre. We found the cache here, after two unsuccessful attempts before this day. Jessica was obviously our lucky charm!
  • Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid This is the football stadium of the famous football team, Real Madrid.
