You recognize that smile! That’s the one that YOU get whenever you find a cache! Help keep that big grin on the Smilin’ Guy’s face by placing him into a great new cache somewhere down the road. Please only put him into caches that have Difficulty and Terrain ratings of 3.0 or LESS, and ones that get lots of visits (not really remote caches!) KEEP ON CACHIN’… AND KEEP ON SMILING!!
Smilin’ Guy TB started his journey in November 2006 in Richland, Washington, USA and was launched by Debiko. He started out as a trade item that DownShifter and I found in a cache in the Dalles, OR. We smiled when we found him and we smile like that whenever we find a cache. You probably do the same when you’re caching! I’d like to see this travel bug travel around North America visiting lots of caches, meeting lots of cachers, and logging lots of miles. If you want to hold on to him a while please at least log him into, and out of, caches once in a while (using the Drop and Retrieve options) to keep track of his travels. Set him free again within a couple of weeks or so if you don’t want to do this. Don’t put Smilin’ Guy into caches that have a Terrain and/or Difficulty rating higher than 3.0 and try to keep him moving along in his journey by putting him into caches that are fairly active and see lots of cachers. The “squashed coin” that is attached to the TB is our personal signature coin and must remain with the TB during its travels… Thanks!
