To travel to caches anywhere there is water and fishermen (or fisherwomen).
The Rubber Worm Guy is a fishing legend. Fish truly fear him, but are drawn like moths to a flame. He gave me some of his wooden nickels to drop off in caches in Australia, but little did he know, that he would become the catch. Please cache and release Rubber Worm Guy in caches near fishing holes, and if you get the chance, take a photo with some truly big fish. If you don't have big fish, a big fish story will do.

My family has been fishing from this beach since the 1950's (Grandmother) and parents now live here - father has seen a lot of changes over the years and a big decline in fish, he still catches barramundi off the beach occassionallly.

Worth the effort of the climb to this cache for this TB, and of course it has to go to Nth QLD where the fishing is always great. Found on our recce from Coffs Harbour (NSW) back home to Townsville (QLD) checking out potential fishing hoiday sites. Town of 1770 has spectacular turquoise water and lovely holiday area.
