I had meant to leave Spikey (who happens to be a green dragon now) in Tennessee's first geocache when I went to replace the container, but I didn't have to replace it and Spikey didn't want to stay.

Well, Spikey is no longer attached to the tag, but the tag is still traveling. We found the tag in a little ziplock baggie at a cache this morning. Want me to stick something on it or just place the tag in another cache?

  • Spikey at Biloxi Park I couldn't drop him off at Biloxi, MS due to running from Gustav, but I found a great substitute at Biloxi Park in Millington, TN. What a great coincidence!

Spikey has landed in Biloxi, MS, but for the sake of making sure he didn't get lost in Hurricane Gustav, I took him with me to Millington, TN. He will be placed in one of the caches here, which will bring him about full circle. He would have been right at home next to Keesler AFB, MS, where the mascot of the base is a dragon. Couldn't get any pictures with him, sorry. I hope someone else can take him further westward... can't seem to get him out of the central/east side of the States, LOL
