To accompany kh to as many caches as I can, to provide a decoy so that detection by muggles is reduced, and to lead kh back to the geomobile after finding caches because sometimes she gets turned around, but I always know the way. I also provide love, support, and companionship to my geocaching partner and am always ready for any adventure on which she wants to take me.
I am Steffi, a lovely black and tan German Shepherd dog who loves to geocache. I usually am more interested in deer, squirrels, rabbits, and great smells than I am in caches, but most of the time I can find plenty that interests me while my caching partner is trying to find a log to sign. I prefer not to stay at the bases of trees while she climbs them, but as I'm not much of a climber myself, I don't get much of a choice; when she goes up, I stay on the ground and watch her or reach up as far as I can. I love the hikes and adventures we take!
