Current Goal

"Home is where you hang your hat." Those are words to live by when you are a military family! This TB wants to visit all the places we've lived, including where we each grew up. It would be really great to see a picture or two of this TB "hangin'" at each location--especially by some notable landmark, or something we might recognize from the area!

About This Item

This TB is starting in Newport News, VA, which is where we currently live. Please check off the attached tag for each goal achieved! Goal cities are: Anchorage, AK; Riverside, CA; Yuba City, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Shreveport, LA; Dayton, OH; Toledo, OH; Canal Fulton, OH; Newport News, VA; Alamogordo, NM; Beale AFB, CA; and Burke, VA. Sorry for hanging on to this hat for so long. Wanted to deliver it to Toledo myself and forgot I had it. Made a special stop to drop it in Toledo today. Posted a picture of Tad1611 and (Pork Queen to the right) with it.

Okay, this is kind of funny! We are moving again soon--to Beale AFB, CA (Yuba City, north of Sacramento). So I log on here to update my bug, only to find it sitting in a cache just south of there! Wouldn't it be funny if it got to Yuba City before we did? Anyways, if somebody picks it up, I would appreciate it if you could add "Yuba City" to the checklist attached to the bug. Thanks! Edited to add--I just realized that we launched this bug before we moved to New Mexico, so if you could also add "Alamogordo, NM" to the checklist, I would be grateful!

  • Hanging hat visiting Riverside I saw in the logs that it had visited Riverside, but I thought you might want some evidence. Here it is at one of the Post Offices in Riverside.
