My Hiking Stick will travel around with me to quest for Geocaches and to be discovered at Events.
I made my Hiking Stick myself.
I selcted and cut the limb from a cedar tree. The Tree was planted in my Parent's yard by my Brother in the early 1990's. I cleaned and cured the wood myself. Sanded it down, stained and sealed it's surface. My Dad did the leatherwork for the grip.
The official Groundspeak Medallion makes it trackable on Geocaching.com.
I will also add hiking medallions as I continue to travel.
To Date the stick has the following Medallions -
1. Wild Cat Glades Audobon Park - Joplin, Missouri
2. Crater Lake National Park - Oregon.
3. Jefferson Expansion National Park - St. Louis Arch
4. East Fork State Park - Cincinatti, Ohio
5. Jazz Heritage Park - New Oleans, Louisiana
