i don't know, if there is a marathon-race in tampere, but last weekend was a rowing-competition tampere to viikinsaari and back and this two times, 35 km.
in my opinion the coin can be dropped off in this town.

today i had to make a marathon-shopping-day with wife and children. i escaped for a couple of minutes and found the cache in kulju. inside the marathon-tb, he was waiting for the marathon-shopper. so you can come with me.

Usually I don't carry TBs but this Marathon -bug means something to me! I shall have a photo to present the area of the half marathon I survived two years ago. My only goal was to pass it and I did!

Behind the TB in the photo there is one of the biggest malls in Finland. The back yard of the mall was the scene for the desperate start and proud completion of the half marathon I joined in May 2008.
While taking this photo I was standing about one meter from the cache GCZFGY - my memorial for 500 found caches for couple of years ago.

Dropped the TB into Kulju cache (GC20XFX) iaw the theme of the TB. In Kulju village there lives one originally Namibian marathon runner. I can not remember her name but I met her some ten months ago when I shared a room in a hospital with her husband.

Today we saw this. 10 years ago some elektricians watched Gutenberg marathon in Mainz. What a marvellous happening. I have a plan to show TB somethig like that. Let's see some day or not.
