    Picked it up at "Eichenhain" in Austria.
    This spot belongs to the Wienerwald ("Forest of Vienna" and is situated near Austria's capital.
    The area doesn't look very alpine, but nevertheless it is a part of the alps. Not very far away you can find the northernmost peak of the Alps (although one would hardly identify it as a peak once standing there).
    On clear days (as today) it is possible to see as far as the Slowakian Boder.

    • View over Vienna to the East The distant hill on the right side of the picture still belongs to Austria, the distant hill in the middle and to the left is in Slowakia. The Danube flows between the hillsides.

    During the last cold and snowy months the tiger could stay in my warm room. But now time has come to breath fresh spring air again.

    Geo K8's guards now an old roman ruin which was build 100 years before Christ. It is near Lambach, Austria.

    I retrieved the Travel Bug today, a fresh sunny day and I'll bring the tiger from Thalheim to another location in Upper-Austria within the next days.
