Current Goal

I would like this geocoin to travel from the UK to my grandchildren in Adelaide, Australia. They will be watching its journey to them. The preferred end destination is the cache "Trolling Around" GC number GC36E1M or a suitable alternative in the locality. I would also very much appreciate photos of the geocoin on its journey, showing the coin against the local cache scenery. Happy to also have the finder/ placer in the picture as well.

About This Item

This British Motoring geocoin was designed and produced by my son Adam, editor of "UK Cache Mag". It shows the family owned Austin Seven Box Saloon. She was first registered in 1932 and is called "Fudge" due to her distinctive colours. The photograph used on the coin was taken beside Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire, UK.

    This geocoin got the honour of being the first item I have ever picked from a cache / placed into a cache. I found it during my winter stay in Spanish costa del sol - having nothing to do, I decided to start again my geocaching hobby.
    Unfortunately I'm not heading to Australia, and even my planned trip to New Zeeland is scheduled to next autumn, so the coin could travel with me just a small step. Good luck on the voyage!
