Roxy is an amazingly friendly dog. She will melt your heart, just like she melted all of ours. :)

Roxy is free to log any time you see her. She wants to keep track of visits to her favorite caches, and also the encounters she has with cachers along the way. :) It's kind like her own little blog. ;)

Roxy was adopted from Parma Pet Shelter on April 17, 2010. Josiah has really been longing for a dog, so we have been scouting for the last few months. When I woke up that Saturday morning I just knew we needed to head to Parma that day to take at look at the dogs up for adoption. Had to take my teamie Paul with me because I needed an extra set of eyes and angel wings to help me 'feel' if the right pooch was there. I walked in a saw those little eyes look up at me. She looked right into my soul. NONE of the other dogs did that. We gave all the dogs equal time, but we kept looking at Roxy over and over. Finally we took her out and let her mingle with Jo. Oh Lordy, it was love and first lick. We spent about a hour with her, then went to lunch. Over lunch I talked with Paul and Jo... then made the call to Jerry and without even seeing Roxy he said, "If you feel it's right, I am cool with us having a dog." Right then I KNEW a miracle was on the horizon! :p

We finished lunch and bolted back to the shelter. We took Roxy out again... and everything just was right about this dog. We even were able to strike a deal on a crate for Roxy. Amazing!!

So that's the story of our Roxy adoption. She lives at the Jazz pad, but Uncle Paul comes to visit all the time. He can't get enough kisses from that pup.
