About This Item

Here's my picture as I start out

"Tanker Toad" is a nickname for airborne tanker crewmembers in the Air Force. This little guy was given out as a promotion by Northrup-Grumman in their marketing effort to build a new aircraft for the Air Force.

Got 'im. As an Air Force brat, I'm pretty proud to have him bunk with me for a while. As the daughter of a fighter pilot, though, I have to look down my nose a bit at someone who'd have anything to do with a tanker. :)
