This travel bug’s mission is to travel the globe and spread awareness about the amazing NGO – Kenya Connect.
Since 2002, Kenya Connect (KC) has partnered thousands students in Wamunyu, Kenya with their peers across the globe. While letters and emails are effective, the people of Wamunyu would love to see you personally, especially watching you try to find the many caches of KC Trail series which runs from the city of Machakos (just east of Nairobi) to Wamunyu.
At Headquarters you can experience KC's solar-powered Learning Resource Center, complete with high speed wireless WiFi. Wood Carver's Co-op showcases the fine wood carving skills of local artisans. This is where the KC Safari Tag Geocoin is produced. KC works along with GeoSafari East Africa in offering comfortable and reliable travel to Wamunyu...and beyond!
