***FEATURED*** on the Podcacher.com podcast (show 225, 4th anniversary of the podcast)
To travel from cache to cache and go as far as possible. The key for the bike lock is actually in the cache. The bike should be locked to something nearby (a tree if in the woods). Please keep the key in a cache near the bike (do not separate).
This TB is a full size mountain bike. Therefore, there are some logistical issues in moving it from cache to cache. See if you can figure out a solution to keep it moving. Tell us your transport story.
The 3 options that come to my mind are:
- Walk to the cache; ride the bike to the next cache; walk home (For those who like lots of exercise).
- Have your partner drive to the next cache while you ride the bike.
- If you have a vehicle that can handle it, transport the bike in your vehicle (back of truck, trunk/hatchback of a car, etc.). This option creates the potential for the TB traveling large distances.
Any bike maintenance that you can do is much appreciated (fill tires, repair, etc).
RIDE THE BIKE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I CAN NOT GUARANTEE YOUR SAFETY.

Hilarious! It reminded me of the bowling ball TB I found a few years ago. I didn't know about this beforehand. I thought it was odd that someone would abandon a bike so close to the cache. I didn't have my bike rack with me so I could not move it.

We were going to move this unique TB along but young Squirrel protested so much, probably due to the lobotomized Winnie-the-Pooh in the child seat, we left it where it was.

Took this from the Cavallaros who took it back in December. I wasn't with them for the grab and didn't realize it was never logged! Sorry!! They dropped this off to me a few weeks ago while they came to MA to visit.

Thanks LHollo.
I received an email a few weeks ago from mucket, who is friends of the current holders of the Bicycle TB. He says they still have it, and will get it out soon.
Expect it somewhere in the NH area.

Looks like this awesome Tb was picked up by cachers lilrob.nrg on December 14, 2008 from the Cache and Release TB Hotel but never logged. I've sent them a few emails inquiring as to the whereabouts of the Bicycle with no response. Sad to see it MIA and hope to see it back in the game sometime soon.

I was absolutely amazed at this TB. This has got to be one of the most ingenius, and crazy, ideas I've ever seen but I love it! I wish I could've taken this TB with me as I could've gotten it a LOT of miles but I just don't have a place to put such a large TB.
Great idea!
