Flat Stanley

As you take me with you on your travels, take a pic and add a pin to my sweater. 

The initial goal when my daughter released Flat Stanley in 2007 was just to travel as far as possible and collect pins from around the globe. Now, more that 10 years later, we're thinking it might be cool to one day return back home (in another ten years or so) for her son or daughter (and their class) to meet Stanley.  He's had a great trip so far -- hoping his next ten years are equally exciting.

If you're going on a trip, or know a fellow cacher who is, take or pass him along so he can see the world.

If you have a chance to take and upload a picture, we'd love to see where he is and how Stanley is all decked out now with all his pins.

Congratulations, you've found Flat Stanley. Flat Stanley is a book read by many elementary school students. It describes the travels of a boy who gets flattened by a bulletin board. Like many children around the world, our daughter created this Flat Stanley as a class project - and in 2006, he traveled around Canada from Toronto to Calgary and Peterborough. Her Aunt Diane from Calgary gave Flat Stanley a sweater and his first pin. He has now became a travel bug to help track his continued travels around the world.

Thanks to everyone who have taken Stanley on his travels and adorned him with all his bling. Places he has now been include:

• US: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Washington, Florida, and Hawaii
• UK: Scotland, North Wales, Ireland
