My first ever big international adventure was to the Azore Islands (autonomonous part of Portugal) and Portugal. It was a fantastic trip where myself and others in college learned how to sail a tall ship (a brigantine). We started in Ponta Delgada in the Azore Islands and sailed to Lisbon. We also explored Portugal on land and went to Braganca, Fatima, Monchique and Sagres. We helped map a new national park and clear away rubble from a church affected by the devastating 1755 earthquake. And then we sailed on to Spain, England and France.
Please help me get this trackable back to Portugal! More specifically the cities mentioned above - Ponta Delgada, Lisbon, Faitma, Monchique, Braganca or Sagres. Happy travelling!
