We have the bus! Fits, cause we live in a bus. Thanks to Gaiter Man for dropping this off. We'll give it a ride to the North and maybe even farther West.

I know that Tucson is a bit far away from Wisconsin however I thought that the Bus might enjoy visiting one of Tucson's premier historical sites. 'A' mountain -- so called because it looks like an 'A' and also has the University of Arizona's logo on it (it is officially known as Sentinal Mountain) -- has been a lookout site for centuries because it rises above the plains and provides for a 270 degree view. The Indians and later the Spanish were able to post men on top of the mountain and then light signal fires in case they spotted foreigners in the distance. See

for a night time picture from the mountain.

Tucson itself is one of, if not the the, longest occupied cities in North America. Aside from the lookout capability of 'A' mountain, the natural springs flowing from the base of the mountain provided the all-so-precious water that people need in the desert. These days the springs are pretty much covered up and the water flows through pipes under the sand. See

for a nice history of Tucson.
