9/27/08 – Weekend one of six, Auburn excursion. My wife, The Bosss, has signed up for a class that meets up in Auburn for six straight Saturdays. Awesome, caching in Auburn!! After dropping The Bosss off for her class I took my kids, Thing One of Two and Thing Two of Two out for a day of hiking and caching in the area. “We” decided to tackle one of the hardest trails in the Auburn State Recreation. You will notice the quotation marks around the “We”. After an incredibly hard six hour hike and caching, the boys and I picked up The Bosss from her class and headed up to Grass Valley. I went to the geocache event that night while my wife and kids visited with family. Overall a great day, fun caches, an event and visiting with family.
