Take a young person caching and let THEM help find the cache that you put this travel bug into. Let us know how it all went in your finder log for the TB. If possible take a photo of the cache location. Enjoy caching with the young ones in your family. Please don’t place KC into any remote caches or caches with difficulty/terrain rating greater than 3.0
Kiddie Cacher TB (Version 1) was activated by Debiko in January 2007 in Richland, Washington, USA. Version 2 was set out on the journey in June 2008 when v1 came up missing from a muggled cache. I’d like to see this travel bug motivate cachers to consider introducing caching to their children, or other young people (Boy Scouts? Girl Scouts? Pathfinders? Youth Club?). Let the young person take part in selecting and finding the cache in which this travel bug is placed and show them how to log in the bug drop. Mention how the whole thing went in your finder log for this TB. If this isn’t possible, no problem, just have fun placing Kiddie Cacher into an active cache – but please don’t put it into one that has a difficulty/terrain rating greater than 3.0 If Version 1 should ever show up again just go ahead and log the find! It will be fun to see them both moving around the world ;-) So far this TB has been to Colorado, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, New Mexico, Thailand, and Washington (USA)!
