This travel bug is in competition with several other family members and friends to see which one travels the furthest between Christmas day and the following Christmas day - a bottle of champagne for the winner.
2008 update: The competition is on again. In 2007 there were 7 in our competition and the results were as follows:

This one is owned by Howard of the johoward. My job in the last 3 years has taken me to several countries that I probably wouldn't have otherwise visited, for example, Oman, Syria, Russia, Malaysia and Thailand. My eyes have been opened to new cultures and different ways of life. The goal is for my 'world traveller' to visit as many different counties as possible but also to cover the miles to win the champagne.
