Well this IS the USPA Skydive Bug, so it was essential that it make at least one skydive with me before heading out into the geoworld on its travels and adventures. So today we made three skydives at the Gold Coast Skydivers dropzone in Lumberton Mississippi. The bug and I jumped three times from 14,500 feet out of a Super Otter jump plane. Each time we enjoyed about 70 seconds of freefall before deploying the parachute and gliding down to a gentle landing.
Now the travel bug knows the freedom and thrill of flight and knows why the birds sing. (It's because they don't have to repack a parachute before their next flight). I'll be sending this bug out soon.
Blue skies and happy caching!
