My mission is to get as close as possible to Mafikeng (Mafeking) in South Africa via as many interesting places as possible.

About This Item

Hi, we are Roo patrol from 1st Kenninghall Scouts in England. Our travel bug is a notebook bug and we would like it to get to Mafeking in South Africa as that is where Baden-Powell was under siege and thought up Scouts.

We would like you to add a note to the log book along the way.

    From the heights of the "Volcano Eifel" my visit in Italy was a good possibility to bring the TB some miles nearer to South Africa.

    Today we grabbed it from top of a 150.000 years old volcano - called 'Bausenberg'. Next time we try to bring it more south, maybe Italy, if we can find a cache near 'Triest'.
