Grandma's little bell #1 (Babiččin zvoneček)

Let me travel all around the world, take photos of most beautifull spots with me, and let me go back to my owner after 5 years (30 june 2022).

[CZE]: Cestuj se mnou po světě, vyfoť mě na zajímavých místech a pomoz mi se po pěti letech (po 30. červnu 2022) vrátit k ownerovi. 

My grandma Alena (1936 – 2016) had spent most of her life in communist Czechoslovakia. She wanted to travel but the regime never allowed her to leave the world behind the Iron Curtain. At least she didn't stop to dream. So she read a lot, she watched travelogues and documentaries about foreign cultures .. she literally traveled with her finger upon the map . When communist regime finally collapsed in 1989, she was unfortunately too old and sick. The last two years of her life she fought a heroic battle against the cancer. She had wanted to see the sea last time, but she passed away. She had never explored her beloved English countryside, she had never seen New York or buddhist temples of south Asia .... she has not fulfilled so many dreams. She has not visited so many places.

Almost everyone collects something ... and my grandma loved bells. She collected them as souvenirs from travels. When she died, she had a full shelves of bells. I did not want to throw them all in the trash, so I send some to the world instead of my dead grandmother. Maybe her soul travels with them.

CZE: Moje babička Alena (1936 – 2016) prožila většinu svého života v komunistickém Československu. Chtěla cestovat, ale režim ji nikdy nedovolil opustit svět za železnou oponou. Tak alespoň hodně četla, sledovala cestopisy a zahraniční filmy ... doslova cestovala prstem v mapách. Když se režim na konci roku 1989 zhroutil, byla již příliš stará a nemocná, aby dohnala ztracených padesát let. Poslední dva roky života svedla obdivuhodnou bitvu s rakouvinou. Chtěla ještě naposledy vidět moře, ale dřív zesnula Navzdory svému celoživotnímu přání nikdy necestovala po anglickém venkově, neviděla New York nebo budhistické chrámy jižní Asie ... nesplnila si tolik snů.

Má babička milovala zvonky. Sbírala je jako suvenýry z cest. Když zemřela, měla zvonečků plnou polici. Jelikož mi bylo líto vyhazovat něco, co bylo babičce tak drahé, napadlo mě je poslat na místa, které babička nikdy neviděla ... možná její duše cestuje s nimi.
