2016 TB

2016 was a heck of a year!  I had so much fun and have many fond memories that I will carry with me for a long time.  This TB is a reminder of some of my favorite things, places, and people from 2016.  I cannot wait to see what 2017 has in store - I'm sure it will be awesome!  Another TB was created as this one's counterpart - it contains the key that unlocks all of the memories.

dipping in on my mini Night/Day Desert Tortoise Themed Power Trail Series :) Logging Smiles and Adding Miles!
This is the start of my mini power trail that i made to be done at night time (or day if preferred) by using reflective tape to make spotting the caches at night from the trail part of the fast and easy fun of these hides. Still a work in progress on these though, since its been so hot out lately, and then the storm hit and flooded this road out so bad, it was pretty rough to get past the huge flooded out sections of the trail path turned into giant mud hole, so now that the weather has chilled back out, its about time to get to finishing this series up soon!

out and about today, doing some rock hounding and setting up a power trail series my girlfriend is putting out in an odd mystery town that never was, off of the 58 Hwy. This cache was placed when we first came to the area and found grated roads with little white wooden poles with street names on them, yet nothing is out here but desert and the Aqua Ducts that were built over 100 years ago. This land was sold to people with promises that it would be a worthwhile investment, but it has remained nothing but a city that never was... its still has owned plots of land, but the story behind how or why or who of the land is still a mystery to everyone.

My Hide called Snap Krackle Pop off California City BLVD/ Randsburg CutOff RD in Kern County, CA. this is one of my sneaky home made cache containers ive got many of. its a bolt cache i made. Making sure this one also made it through the storm and didnt go MIA. thankfully, despite the fact the area obviously flooded, my cache is safe and good!
