I had this for way too long! My apologies but, I hope I made up for it with some good destinations! While in the Seattle area, I visited the Museum of Flight and this travel bug got to have it's photo taken with some real historic aircraft including the original Air Force 1, the first Boeing 747 and a retired Concorde! I'll post the images soon! With the rich aviation history in the Seattle area, it should do well!

I've got it and I'll bring it to work for some aviation history.

Brought it into work and it visited a couple of other vertical lift aircraft and went for a ride on one of them! A-V8 visited the LifeNet72 emergency helicopter based in Glen, NY and then visited the Albany Med FLIGHT emergency helicopter on the roof of Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. A-V8 accompanied me during a flight to log some air time!

I'll move it along on it's journey shortly.

  • A-V8 hanging on the door handle of LifeNet72. Staffed with a pilot, nurse and paramedic, this A-star helicopter performs life saving missions from it's base in Glen, NY.
  • A-V8 checking out the cabin. A-V8 sits atop the patient monitor on the LifeNet 72 helicopter.
  • Rooftop visit. A-V8 visited the rooftop helipad at Albany Medical Center. The pad is the home of "Albany 1", the Albany Med FLIGHT BK-117 emergency helicopter.
  • A-V8 in the cockpit. A-V8 sits atop the cyclic of the Albany Med FLIGHT helicopter.
  • Flight time! A-V8 catches a ride hanging above the dash of the Albany Med FLIGHT helicopter. Downtown Albany with the state office complex and capitol building can be seen just above the dashboard in the center of the picture.
