At times I'm amazed that I have over 10,000+ finds. I've got to be one of the worst geocachers in terms of being organized, tracking numbers, and having a plan. Truth be told I think I'm worst at logging trackables and honestly if yesterday went differently I probably still wouldn't be logging these.
Anyhoo, last night my wife was getting everything ready to make fried egg sandwiches for dinner. Nothing special, but will be traveling and having lots of opportunities for food choices over the next several days. Then the power goes out with the outside temperatures at -7°. Dinner gets postponed and we're off to the basement where it's much warmer. So I figure I'll try to write down all the trackable numbers that I've taken pictures of over the last year before my phone which has 24% battery life left on it dies. I put my headlamp on and went to work. Somewhere in the process my phone died, I fell asleep, but not before plugging the charger in. I woke up this morning to find that we have power, heat, I have a fully charged phone, and a complete list. Thanks for the discovery.
