I ordered my first personal Pathtag at the end of last year with the intention to trade at the MidWest GeoBash Mega event this month.
Let me just say the last few months have been a lot of trial and error. I created a Pathtag account in late 2010 and logged the first five tags that I found or were given to me. Then I promptlty forgot about it. All the tags I've purchased from events over the years, traded, or were given got tossed in a shoebox in the corner of my man cave. When my Pathtags arrived I decided I should log all the tags that I collected over the years.
My intention was to wait until the MidWest GeoBash Mega event to begin trading, but I saw this neat tag and put it on my wishlist. I received an instant response. Then I discovered a super secret travel bug society; travel bug mailers.
I digress. I've been jotting down trackable numbers on the mailers and logging at least once a month. After spending way too much time on social media platforms, posting and viewing Covid-19 memes, sheltering in place, having the MidWest GeoBash Mega canceled, and watching almost everything on Netflix I figured it was time to log these trackables.
Chances are somewhat iffy that we've actually made a trade. I'm just starting out and my trades are only in the double digits. I can't wait to actually start trading in person. Discovered from my big comfy chair in Waterville, Ohio. Thanks for sharing.
