La tortue verte est une espèce de tortue marine, elle est appelée ainsi à cause de la couleur de sa graisse, en effet elle se nourrit à l’âge adulte de plantes sous-marines.
C’est une espèce en danger car elle est chassée pour sa chair, sa carapace et la consommation de ses œufs. Elle subit de surcroît l'impact humain: collisions avec les bateaux, destruction de ses aires de pontes, pollution,...
Wouchi voudrait voyager au grè des courants dans les pays où ses congénères vivent et se reproduisent.
