"Africa Queen" is my latest Bike and probably the only one which is a real Traveling,- and of course: Geocaching Bike...
It is a Honda Africa Twin Rd07 from 1997. It has 750ccm and about 50PS;
I bought it in January 2016 with about 40.000 km and i rebuilt it the last couple weeks and added some accesouirs to make it better:
- in comfort and safety: handlebar risers; heatet Grips; extra fog lights; handguards; NavigationSystem (Zümo 660) and of course: Garmin etrex 30...
- for Travelling: Scottoiler; Sidebags; luggage Carrier and 2 Alucases; spare Petrol tank; 2 x 12 V Plugs; protective grids for lighting; tool box....
- for Offroad and gravel roads usage: Lifting kit for more ground clearance (Back and front ~5cm); progressive Springs...
- for optical use and funfactor: Leo Vince Exhaust Pipe; LED indicators; sport air filter, Cockpitplate; and of course:a Travelbug on the Shield :-)
I checked my Bike and its modivication right away in Romania and Serbia, where therefore perfect conditions were.. and i must say i am pretty convinced that this is the perfect Bike for me and some Adventures (while Travelling and / or Geocaching)...
so one of the last steps is the Travelbug... and i would really apreciate it to get discovered (not by a f*****g List from any Event or by seen any photograph in the Net... but much more Live, when we meet somewhere on the Road or you have seen the Qeen real :-)
I am Happy about adding Pictures to the Log as well :-)
