My Grandmother Emily Annie Hatch was born in Hartpury Gloucestershire on 25th January 1894 and she lived in Catsbury Cottage Corsend Road with her brothers and sisters. I adored her and she passed away in March 1996 aged 102 years. I believe that her eldest siblings went to Canada but she lost contact with them over the years. I would love this trackable to travel to Canada and to stay there for ever in her memory going from cache to cache.
The reason I have chosen this beautiful Spring geocoin is because when I was eight I went to stay with relatives in Gloucestershire with Emily and it was springtime. The violets were out, the daffodils were in full bloom and the fields were full of lambs. It was a very happy time for me, and I will always remember her and that wonderful time of year when summer is waiting and winter is a memory.
So please help this geocoin to make it to Canada, and if anyone there knows any of my relatives please get in touch, I would love to hear from you.
