To travel here, there, and everywhere - in search of good friends and great adventures!
This 2006 King Boreas 1000th Hide Geocoin is being released into the wild, free to travel from cache to cache. These coins were minted to celebrate King Boreas and his 1,000th cache hide, an incredible feat by anyone's standards.
Each of the coins is individually numbered, and corresponds to one of KB's hides. This is Coin #919, which is waypoint GCP9FY - "Hitting for the Cycle-Double to the Gap" in Arden Hills, a cache placed by Ex-Lawyer and adopted by KB. These coins are still available for purchase or trade - if you're interested in one for your collection, please contact Centris and tell her I sent'cha. :)
This coin has no specific goals, other than to travel as fast and as far as possible It is hoping to gather many miles, stories, and adventures along the way - pictures are always welcome, and thanks for keeping it moving!
Fun places & things this coin has visited so far:
- 9/22/06 - Official Launch in GCX130 "Minesweeper"! (Edina, MN)
- 12/20/07 - Used to launch a new cache: GC181EW "Are You Ready for the Country?" in State #2: Wisconsin! (Seymour, WI) Thanks, zuma!
