This Leaf Mini is entered in the 2016 Geocache HQ Duck Dash. Please take it as far as you can to many, many caches by August 20, 2016, International Geocaching Day, and get it to a geocaching event on August 20.
After that, it becomes a race between 6 family members to see how far their Duck Dash TBs can go each year.
Please post pictures of it with any clean-up efforts you have accomplished, feel free to add hitchhikers to accompany its travels, and help it beat Geo-Daughter's Aimee's Amore the Teddy Bear, Geo-Son-in-Law's Andy's Vinnie the Vampire, Geo-Wifey's Cathy's Mariah the Jackalope, Geo-Son-in-Law's Gary's Bonobo the Monkey, and Geo-Daughter's Ginee's Pezoo the Polar Bear each year!!
RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY ON 11/19/21 AFTER BEING RETRIEVED ALMOST 11 MONTHS AGO, BUT NEVER MOVED AGAIN, AND EFFORTS TO CONTACT THE GEOCACHER THAT RETREIVED IT WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. IT HAD TRAVELED OVER 3,956 MILES BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED AFTER BEING RETREIVED FROM A CACHE NEAR MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA!!
The 2016 CITO Mini was designed by Geocaching.com's very own Roxxy and has amazing features that celebrate the care and respect given to the planet and the everyday act of being a mindful geocacher.
It should serve to remind us that CITO is not just an event or cache type, but it is an effort we can all make to keep our world beautiful.
This CITO Mini was initially set free by Dave Lewis in Big Sky, MT, who wants it to win the 2016 Geocache HQ Duck Dash and then see it travel from cache to cache encouraging geocachers to help keep the environment clean.
It is made of a sold metal and measures approximately .8125 inches x .4375 inches, so it should fit nicely in small containers.
