The mission for this coin is to travel to OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA... When it arrives it should then travel from cache to cache in the east bay area...

About This Item

Thanks for your help in the movement of this coin.. Looking forward to its arrival in Oakland (my hometown). Living in Minnesota i often long for being under the Redwood trees in California geocaching (especially during the winter).. i will try and visit the caches my coin made it to when i come visit.. Feel free to taunt me with beautiful pictures, weather report, or caching adventures when you post your log...

    Sounds like the cache spilled all over the gound and possibly my coin is in the weeds??? Maybe it will be found some time??
    OR.. maybe it got muggled and that would make me homesick for the darker element in Oakland? Hmmm

    Just visited Pricipal's Overlook. Homesick was not in that cache. I wanted to grab it; I'm headed to Visalia, CA in a week and that will move it much closer to Oakland.

    There is a slight chance it is on the ground in the cache's hide spot. The cache lid was broken in pieces with only the camouflage covering the top of the container.

    I hope Homesick shows up soon; I'll go after it to move it up North if it does.

    I took this one in hopes that I can move it farther north. I should be able to, we'll see. I am not sure if it has accomplished its west coast objective yet, though. Very nice coin.

    Found on a rainy day in Longview Wa.
    Cache and coin sniffed out by our trusty Geohounds
    Will move this coin a bit south and keep an eye on it' if it hasn't made Oakland by August, we will attemp to re-retrieve it at its location on our trip to CA.
