This trackable was started by a firefighter from the Hootalinqua Volunteer Fire Department. It's goal is to visit as many fire departments as possible.
Hootalinqua Volunteer Fire Department is a rural department, just outside the city limits of Whitehorse, Yukon, in northern Canada. We are currently a 20 member crew and some of our challenges are water supply (we have no hydrants) and also fighting fires at -40 degrees Celcius or colder weather!
Please take a photo of this trackable at your local fire department and in your comments tell us a bit about the fire department before sending it on to its next adventure!
Hootalinqua Travel Firefighter is a metal tag with a chain. It's teardrop shaped and has the Matlese Cross on it and the words "FIRE" and "FIGHTER" on the top and bottom of the cross and a ladder with a pike pole on the left of the cross and a fire hydrant on the right hand side. The cross is red and the backdrop is orange and yellow flames on a blue background.
