About This Item

Named for the cache into which it was first placed. Between a Rock and a Hard Place started it's journey in the old gold mining valley of the Chatanika River in interior Alaska north of Fairbanks. Check out images in the first log for this cache. After a long and circuitous journey the bug arrived at it's deswtination in New Zealand. Thanks especially to those that carried it the long distances. Now it's time to return home to alaska. Please take it to Mammoth Tusk cache in the Fairbanks area. We need more photos of the travel route. Please load your digital images.

I took it out from the cache at the FakeCastle (Hungary) and now I am going to bring it to Transsylvania (Rumania) and put there in a cache within a few weeks.

This is a "copy" of the famous Eger Castle, where the Hungarian defenders defeated the Turkish army in 1552, which was a glorious victory for Hungary and for Europe.
