To travel through both the Panama Canal and Suez Canal.
On January 20, 2018 while in the hands of its owner, this coin accomplished the first half of its mission, doing a full transit of the Panama Canal from The Pacific Ocean to the Gulf Of Mexico.
I won this at a CITO event in Saskatoon. We will carry it with us for the rest of 2017 - Canada's 150th birthday year, including a July 1 visit to Parliament Hill in Ottawa. At the conclusion of 2017, we will release it in an appropriate place so it can travel the rest of the world.
